How to Become a Licensed Teacher in the Philippines – Guide

Due to recent changes in the educational system of our country, the education department is expecting more teachers in public and private schools starting next year 2017.

If you are planning to become a school teacher Philippines then you should have the following requirements:
First of all, you should be a graduate in primary or secondary education, or to be able to teach at secondary level, you must have a bachelor’s degree and a certificate in the teaching profession.
In some places, a CTP is not important, only cases of a Bachelor degree.
However, getting CTP for non-education heads will benefit you and you will be made eligible for taking a Licensure Exam for teachers.
Second, you have to pass a LET to be a certified and licensed teacher.
