Civil Service Exam Application Requirements

  1. You must be a Filipino citizen.
  2. You must be at least 18 years old on the date of filing of application for the exam.
  3. You must have good moral character
  4. You must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime
  5. You must not have been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government.
  6. You must not have taken the same level of CS Exam in less than 3 months (3 months Prohibition Period on taking the same level of exam)
  7. Submit a Form 

The Civil Service Application Process

  1. Go to Civil Service Commission website at csc.gov.ph and then download the Civil Service Examination Form – CS Form No. 100 (Revised September 2016)
  2. Fill up the Civil Service Examination Form then submit it to CSC Regional Office (CSCRO) or at any of the concerned CSCRO’s Field Offices, where the applicant intends to take the examination, without affixing signature and thumbprint.
  3. Applicant’s signature and thumbprint should be affixed on the form in the presence of an Action Officer (CSC Regional and Field Offices).
  4. Pay the P500 examination fee at the cashier.
  5. The official receipt with the processed application form must be presented to the Action Officer (CSC Regional and Field Offices).
  6. Wait for the action officer to give the examination receipt slip, other instructions and reminders for the exam.
That’s it. You have successfully undergone the Civil Service application process.

  • Physics/Applied Physics
Engineering Sciences 
  • Biological Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Food Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geothermal Engineering, Railway Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Nuclear Engineering
Mathematics and Information and Communication Technology 
  • Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Pure Mathematics, Statistics
Other Disciplines 
  • Environmental Science, Food Science
